Chicago Ridge School District formed an ELA committee in the 2015-16 school year, with the purpose of researching resources that will enable students to master the new Illinois Learning Standards incorporating the Common Core State Standards through rigorous, content-rich instruction. Our goal is to help our students become college and career ready. The committee selected a series, published by Schoolwide, which provide a continuum of learning and consistency from Kindergarten through Eighth grade.
